Revolutionizing Pipeline Maintenance in the Saudi Market

Saudi Arabia is building and renewing infrastructure at a pace few countries have ever attempted. Behind the new districts, airports and industrial cities sit tens of thousands of kilometres of pipelines, and keeping them flowing without digging up the Kingdom's newest roads is where Applied Pipeline Services and its Saudi partner, Rawid AlTashkeel, come in.

Cleaning blocked pipes without excavation

Blockages in sewer, storm and industrial lines were traditionally solved with a trench and a replacement section. Our robotic cleaning fleet changes that equation. High-pressure water jetting at up to 100 bar clears grease, scale and sediment; robotic cutters remove hardened deposits, intruding roots and protruding laterals; and CCTV crawlers verify the restored diameter, all through existing manholes. A line that would have been closed for a week is back in service the same day.

Proven on the Kingdom's landmark projects

  • Riyadh Metro. Inspection and rehabilitation of station drainage networks under live construction schedules.
  • National Water Company. 6.8 km of DN1800 sewer cleaned and surveyed with robotic crawlers in Al Olla.
  • King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries. Rehabilitation of pipes of various sizes at the world's largest maritime complex.
  • ARAMCO, NAFFCO, SEPCO, RED SEA, ENOVA. Pressure-pipe, fire-line and process pipe rehabilitation across industrial and hospitality sites.

Why it matters for Saudi owners

Vision 2030 projects are delivered on compressed programmes with hard handover dates. A pipeline failure that forces excavation inside a finished plaza or beneath a new highway is not just expensive; it threatens the programme itself. Trenchless maintenance removes that risk. It also aligns with the Kingdom's water-efficiency goals: our acoustic leak detection and tight-fit lining directly reduce non-revenue water, a priority for every Saudi utility.

A local team, Gulf-wide experience

Our Riyadh operation is staffed and equipped locally, with the same crews, cameras and curing equipment we use in the UAE, and it draws on more than one million metres of rehabilitation experience across the region. Whether you manage a municipality, a mega-project or a single industrial facility, we can inspect your network, clean it, line it and warrant it for 10 years, without a single trench.
